Toolbox Contract uses Hapag-Lloyd’s ‘Ships Green’ service
đď¸ At Toolbox Contract, we use Hapag-Lloyd’s ‘Ship Green’ whenever possible for our ocean shipments (at no cost to our clients), which enables us to switch to biofuel to avoid emissions for the ocean leg – directly, immediately and up to 100%.â How does ‘Ship Green’ work? To offer climate-friendly container transport services, Hapag-Lloyd started using biodiesel that produces less well-to-wake greenhouse gases from fuel production to the end use of ships. â Hapag-Lloyd’s ‘Ship Green’ service is a path towards climate-neutral shipping, aiming to net-zero greenhouse gas emissions for the entire fleet by 2045 using alternative fuelsâ .â
